Beautiful Boy al TIFF

Shawn Ku’s indie drama Beautiful Boy will play the Toronto Film Festival in September. The film stars Michael Sheen and Maria Bello as Bill and Kate Carroll, an unhappily married couple who are trying to put the pieces of their life back together after learning that their son was responsible for a college massacre before committing suicide. They decide to move in with Kate’s brother (Alan Tudyk) and his wife (Moon Bloodgood). The TIFF takes place from September 9 to 19. The schedule will be announced on August 24.
